British kitchen supplier Mereway this year announced one of their most comprehensive updates in recent years, with a host of new carcass colours, door options and even a new range in the form of the new Qline kitchen concept. One key theme throughout this major update was the introduction of several new blue colour options across all ranges, giving thought behind the idea that Blue may overtake Grey as one of the current most popular kitchen colours. New blue colour options feature across all Mereway kitchen ranges, so let’s take a look at some of the new on trend colour additions.
The English Revival collection is Mereway’s most elusive kitchen option, and boasts three subsections: Signature, Shaker and Modern Classic. All of these have benefitted from new blue colour options Dusk Blue and Indigo Blue whilst the existing Mereway colour option Denim Blue has been added to the Signature range. The Blue additions to the English Revival range are best shown in the contemporary Modern Classic collection however, which showcases the beautiful new Indigo Blue option alongside existing colour option Priory Blue. This kitchen also shows off some of the amazing features available in the English Revival range including glazed storage units, oak drawer dividers and exposed shelving.
The classic Town & Country collection has seen three new blue colour options in the form of Azure Blue, Dusk Blue and Indigo Blue. The new Slim-Line shaker Cambridge door proves to be a fantastic option to showcase the new Indigo Blue colour option and is beautifully complemented by long brushed chrome bar handles, while the lively Azure Blue has been displayed in the existing Canterbury door shown also with feature exposed shelving and glazed units. An existing popular colour combination of Dusk Blue and Denim Blue perfectly complements the classic Charnwood door option of which is also available in the fifth and final blue option for the Town & Country range Tyrolean Blue.

One of the biggest surprises for the Cucina Colore range was the inclusion of the new Cambridge door in the Italian inspired range. Cucina Colore is Mereway’s modern kitchen option, generally focusing on high-gloss or textured flat panel doors for an ultra-modern feel. This year not one, but two shaker doors have been added to the Cucina Colore range with the Cambridge and Ely doors offering a traditional woodgrain finish for a contemporary kitchen space. These doors bring with them a host of elegant blue colour options including colours Priory blue, Dusk Blue and Indigo Blue which are sure to make a statement across many homes in the near future.
